I accidentally swallowed some gas, will I die?

Hair coloring disaster!?

So I have been coloring my own hair for YEARS. But I don't want to keep damaging my hair with hair coloring with harsh chemicals or hair color strippers that also have harsh chemicals. I just dyed my hair blackish with purple streaks. I'm not into it at all. I'm a hippie type person and I normally have light brown hair with highlights. I want to take it out but in a natural way. I have tried using lemons to lighten it but it only lightened my roots. So I need to find a NATURAL way to strip my hair of the black color. And also, any ideas on how to make a remedy to put highlights in? Any help would be GREAT.

Mean lovebird- what is this bird's reasons?

I got a lovebird about two months ago that was really, really nice from the beginning. It was about three months old, but unfortunately, it died from poisoning. I just got another about fours weeks ago, and when I got it, it was seven weeks old. It is pretty mean, and bites me all the time. Is it going through adolescence, or is it just the temperment of the bird? Can the meanness be waited out, or is it just a mean bird? The breeder did include that it stayed in the nest five weeks instead of four. Is that causing biting? Will it cause something else?

Are seizures and sleepwalking/talking linked?

I have been accused of talking ans walking in my sleep since I was a small child. Some nights i would just talk, some nights i would walk, sometimes both or nothing. As I became an adult, I realized when I was sleepwalking because I would wake up in places other than my bed, like the stairwell of my apartment complex. I never saw a Dr about it, I just started using better locks on the exiting doors. I have also been told that I will kick and jolt violently in my sleep, which usually is followed by grinding my teeth and mumbling. I still payed no attention or talked to a Dr. However, a month ago I had a Grand Mal seizure for the first time, and have had two absence seizures since. My husband says that he is pretty sure I had a seizure in my sleep, and we are wondering if it is possible that the sleep patterns I have had since childhood are in someway related. I have been seeing a neurologist, and did the EEG on thursday, but i do not get the results until monday. Has anyone ever experienced or heard of these things being linked?

Is he too young for a hip replacement?

My husband has been diagnosed with congenital hip dislocation at the age of 27. The doctor told him that he would for sure need a hip replacement and to come back in when he was ready. My husband is in constant pain that requires him to be on a strong anti-inflammatory and he has to take several doses of pain medications a day just to make it through work etc. (My husband really does not want to take several doses of pain meds everyday for the next 5-10 years unless absolutely necessary) He decided to go ahead and get the surgery but the doctor said he did not expect to see him for another 5-10 years and said he did not recommend the surgery until then. He also said that hip replacements to not last all that long and you can't always get another one after the first. We were kind of surprised to hear this after doing some research on the internet. We found that individuals who got the surgery done in their late 20's and 30's were extremely happy. We also thought that the artificial hip would last much longer. We would like to hear from individuals who have experienced a similar situation. If you had the surgery at a young age what are your thoughts? If you opted to wait, what were your reasons? Thanks!

Hi Nicole.....In laymans terms...I'll try......You need powered speakers/sub that have an rca jack inputs at the rear of the speakers...The speakers you have can be used but, you would have to connect rca connectors to them...red connector to the red speaker wire and the white or black connector (pending on what colour is available to buy) to your black speaker wire.......So basically you need a small computer audio system with a sub woofer and speakers...Then from your computers 3.5mm input jack,you can then connect an adapter called a "3.5mm male to rca female adapter" (You can get these at any good electrical supplier/retail store for a couple of $'s ).....Then you simply connect the two rca inputs of a rca cable to that rca adapter...then the other end of that rca cable goes to the sub woofer rca inputs..........I hope that is laymen enough for you......... cheers nicole!

My aunt always took her 2 work so why was this day dif. My mom went over & found my aunt laying in the fetal possition & her body was now a blk color. My mom noticed the pillow on the bed had some black stuff on it. Through out this all there has been several stories told by my uncle about how he found her. We think he smoothered her 2 death. Bat on my sidewalk?

I walked out for a smoke about 45 minutes ago and saw a bat just laying on the side walk. It seemed to have fallin from the tree or lost its grip on the roof. I looked at it closer and saw it had two baby bats attached to its underside. I grabed a paper plate and a broom and swept it up onto the plate and put it on the backyard table so the cats out front wouldnt mess with it. i went out there about 5 minutes ago and it was no where to be seen. My cat has been making sad and mournful cries at varying times of the day. He is a neutered 15 year old.?

He is in good health, as he has been to the vet twice since September, with blood tests (we were concerned about Feline Chronic Renal Failure, but all levels were good). He's loving and doesn't seem to be acting any differently other than the caterwauling. Sometimes he will walk away after being fed, petted or otherwise interacted with and start these sounds. He could be less than 10 feet away from us when this happens, or on the other side of the house. Sometimes he'll wake us up the middle of the night. If we call out to him, (ie "Baby, we're here") he'll stop. He has access to us, food, water, litter box and toys. My vet is unconcerned, but the noise is rather irritating. Any help or suggestions?

I'm in pain, doctors dont know why!!?

i'm 18. i had an IUD put in March 8th (Monday), it was very painfull because i never had any children and my cervix was very tight. That weekend the pain was still there and getting worse. By tuesday my right side was hurting so bad i couldn't walk and had to be taken via ambulance to the ER. They did a cat scan and found that I had an abnormally large appendix and gall stones but there was no inflammation so the surgeon doesn't believe thats what is causing the pain.Wednesday the removed the IUD. My blood test shows nothing, white count is normal everything in my blood tests came back normal. The pain starts just above my last rib and goes down to my hip, it branches inward about 2 inches and it goes towards the middle of my back about 3. I can barely walk let alone sit up straight. I dont eat much but never really have. and lately i'm a little gy but not bad. Please help me

I feel that I am a reasonable boss. I am not emotional and do not rant and rave when there are problems with staff, like other managers. But I work with my staff to keep from having the problem happen again or discipline the employee as necessary. A little background: I have several good (perhaps not great) managers that work for me. I feel that they are hard workers and have medium to high level of productivity. My managers have staff that work for them. There is an audit team that reviews my managers and staff for errors in their work. When there are errors or problems with my staff, the audit team expresses that I am too lenient of a boss, regardless of how the problem is handled. Mine was when I was hosting a video game event at school, during school, like I do every week, and the girl I was in love with (it unrequited love at the time, since well, I never really asked her out) showed up. We were playing Total Annihilation (with both The Core Contingency and Battle Tactics). Well, I offered if she wanted to play, but she didn't (she is also a gamer, we are best friends), but she didn't. She watched me play though. I first owned Terran (who could have easily owned me, since he had air superiority) by sending a relatively small amount of men to attack his base, but his Commander got trapped and couldn't retreat, so I destroyed his commander (making him lose the game). Jacob and I were then in a stand off. I had superior technology, but very few resources. I kept sending waves of units at his weak base, but his defenses held. I eventually ended the game with a mive airstrike. I am so glad Tabitha showed up, without her support and guidance, I probably wouldn't have won (well I still would have, but I love her anyway...I mean...I loved her).

I need ideas for attaching vinyl cove base so it can be removed??

Here's the deal: There is about an inch or so space between my bottom of my washer and the floor. Recently, some socks got from the floor under the washer and then up into the machinery of my washer, causing expensive repairs. To prevent this from happening again, I got some used cove base (flexible vinyl type) that I want to attach all around the bottom of the washer. The plan is that the lip of the cove base will rest on the floor, providing a barrier so that nothing can get under the washer. But I'd like to attach the cove base in such a way that it's removable if/when the washer needs to be taken out for repair. I thought of self adhesive velcro..........? Theres something wrong with my goldfish, please help?

A yr n a half ago i got a goldfish f walmart. They said it was a fantail. I know its not bcuz it has a big round fat face. Not small n pointed like fantails do. Its all pearl white w a yellowish face. A couple days ago i noticed that its face had a few reddish colored blotches on it. Now 2day the blotches r all over its whole face. My Car will not start or turnover?

I owned a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix and the engine size is a 3.8 just a little bit of history the vehicle at one point had a blown out head gasket and the original starter had cracked. I replace the starter and cylinder heads on the vehicle and I believe it took care of the over heating, blown head gasket, and problem with the vehicle not turning over. Later the engine light came on, when diagnose it read something about bad fuel my guess would be that could be right because the vehicle has not been driven prior before replacing the cylinder heads and starter for about a year. I drove the vehicle and it ran fine for about a month or so then suddenly my vehicle would not start again. I checked under my vehicle and my starter had cracked again so I replace it with a new one again but this time the vehicle still would not start but make a wired noise. Is my engine broken/jam and causing my car not to start, and why is my starter keep cracking.

Hair disaster! I really need a home remedy fast please.?

I naturally have dark blonde-light brown hair that I have professional hi-lights/low-lights put in every 3 months. Due to a very busy schedule these days I decided to add an all over box color of light ash blonde just to the re-growth. This changed the roots to a reddish color- not matching my mostly blonde/light brown hair. So, I bought a hi-lighting kit knowing that it would lighten it up and applied it with a comb and didn't leave it on long enough- it turned it a bright apricot color. The next day I repeated that same process, but left it on for the recommended time= now I have 3 inches of a bright yellow (think banana popsicle) hair- starting at my roots. The bottom half of my hair is fine. I know the best option is the salon, but no one can fit me in for at least 2 weeks. Would adding an allover color to my entire head of light ash brown or blonde work? Would my hair turn green? I am using Aveda's Blue Malva shampoo to try an balance the briness, but it's not helping.

Recently my friend and I were driving around and needed to fill up on gas. I was curious as to what Super Unleaded would do for my car and she said not to use it. She claimed that Super Unleaded is only for bigger trucks and will ruin my engine. Needless to say, I'm a little confused as I've heard that even though most cars can go on Unleaded, Super is just the Rolls Royce, if you will, of gasoline. As far as eq that will vary from drum to drum and it is really a personal preference. The only effect I use live or in the studio is reverb. I like some slap back on the snare as well if you have that setting.

The 351 Cleveland was a performance motor and came stock with more horse power . As far as RPM 's , really not a lot different . 351C does have a better low end . If you are thinking about swapping them , you need to know that the only similarity with the two is the cubic inches . Only thing that will swap is the carb and fan .

Having trouble with my 7 year old?

When my son is at school he acts like the perfect little angel. Teacher told me this morning how he is so respectful always uses his manors, greets everyone, and is a delight to have in cl. I kind of thought wow I'm surprised because he doesn't act like that at home. In fact his attitude at home is the opposite. This is new and just started. He just seems irritated with everyone. And he is upset by the silliest things. It started about a week before he went back to school from Christmas vacation. I thought maybe it was because he missed his friends, but he is still doing it. I asked him what is wrong and he says nothing is wrong. Last night was the worst, it was time to get a bath and get ready for bed, he asked to play wii and I said no because he had to be in bed in an hour. He took that as if I told him no wii for the rest of your life, he threw a fit, cried hysterically. At that point I made him go to bed because I figured he was tired. He was tired because Sunday night I had a lot of trouble getting him to bed, since he has almost 2 weeks off of school. His bed time is 8:30 every night and it has been that way since kindergarten, and we have never had any problems with him waking up the next day and getting through the day without being tired. But his attitude has to change. I can't have him start to walk all over me. Is the problem school, friends, us. I just don't know and like I said this is new, he is always happy and laughing but in the past week he's been acting as if he just wants left alone. Maybe he is coming to age and growing up, but I'm just confused. Any advise?

If I would you, I would tell them that they should have a sort of record of the VIN with the radio serial number with it. If they don't know that, then apparently there seriously are not real dealerships and try to rip you off. What the hell is going on with the stock-market right now?!?!?!?

I am not economic, or stock-market savvy, so please try and explain in layman's terms as much as possible. I had a friend try to explain to me that the great depression was the fault of the government forcing banks to loan unlimited amounts of money to anyone, no matter how incompetent or likely to completely blow it with what they wanted to use the money to invest in. As I understand it, originally banks had a certain amount of gold stored in them, and the amount of loans they could give out, could not exceed the value of the gold they had- this was the gold standard, right? But the government told them it wasn't fair for them to refuse anyone a loan, and thus got rid of the gold standard and told them it was illegal to refuse anyone a loan, right? Correct me if I'm wrong (or really if my friend was wrong, as I'm just repeating to you what he told me). And apparently now the same thing is happening and all these home loans and other kinds of loans that the government has forced private companies to give out to people, are now causing a back-lash, since many of the people that should not have been given loans in the first place, are unable to repay them now, and these companies that were forced to give the loans out are going bankrupt? Is that basically what it is. For the love of god, someone who understands how all this S*%# works please clarify it all for me!!

Maybe I just never grew up, but I still look forward to summer vacations. More contact with the grandkids, and great family gatherings. I am feeling a bit melancholy now that school is starting. One grandson is off to a college in another state, and though we are all very happy for him, we will miss him. My granddaughter is only eight, and many expectations of showing off her beginning skills as a rider at local events ended when her horse sustained an injury. My future army of inbreds?

Hello Yahoo community. Yesterday, I was given the privilege of seeing my friends fish tank first hand. He had informed me that he accidentally inbred a bunch of fish... 4 generations. When I saw these fish myself, I was astonished! They were brilliantly mutated, to perfection. Their backs were bent upwards and they seemed to have many problems. My friend has 10 of these fish and is willing to give them to me for free. I'm thinking of now creating an army of my new inbred fish. I will have them inbreed until they cannot inbreed anymore! I don't want 4th gen inbreeds, I was 20th gen inbreeds! Eventually I hope these inbreeds mutate into super fish. Is this cruel, or is it fine? I mean they're only fish. Thank you for your time.

im 13, 130 lbs. (gained a few lbs during summer usually 125-128), 5'5, med. frame because of high bone m. I know i have high bone m because i dont look 130. All my friends and people guess im 120-125 lbs when they dont no my weight. I hardly have any junk food, my favorite food are fruits. i think you should just get the normal IV styler. i have these and they are brilliant, easy to use and quick. i have thick hair but by the sounds of the explanation of your hair mine doesn't sound as thick. either way the IV styler works, it may take a little longer to get through all your hair, just do it in layers and you will have perfectly straight hair. i find the IV styler ideal to use and my friend had the IV salon styler which she got rid of because they were too big and clumsy to use.

18' birch in big trouble.?

I just planted a large whitespire birch 3 days ago in a new garden made up of existing sandy foundation below and 4" of triple mix above. Since then, we had mive amounts of rain and fierce winds that practically pushed this enormously heavy tree to a 45 degree angle. After a lot of work we have managed to "right" the tree again but discovered that the ground is like a mud pie from the rain. The tree is essentially like a ball in a primed socket. The leaves have started to wilt. Any advice on how to save this beautiful birch?? It's far too large to stake, and far to heavy to take out of the ground without istance from a crane, so re-planting isn't an option. Help!!!
