Does this capture you attention as the start of a story? What should I change?

I like the story but I've heard it all before. Some girl getting picked on by the snobby popular girls and dreaming to be just like them. Your writing skills are pretty good but you should think of ways to make this story more interesting and not like the everyday norm. Keep it up!
