How can I connect my speakers to my computer?

Hi Nicole.....In laymans terms...I'll try......You need powered speakers/sub that have an rca jack inputs at the rear of the speakers...The speakers you have can be used but, you would have to connect rca connectors to them...red connector to the red speaker wire and the white or black connector (pending on what colour is available to buy) to your black speaker wire.......So basically you need a small computer audio system with a sub woofer and speakers...Then from your computers 3.5mm input jack,you can then connect an adapter called a "3.5mm male to rca female adapter" (You can get these at any good electrical supplier/retail store for a couple of $'s ).....Then you simply connect the two rca inputs of a rca cable to that rca adapter...then the other end of that rca cable goes to the sub woofer rca inputs..........I hope that is laymen enough for you......... cheers nicole!
