Blessing an item - is that a blasphemy?

I have to agree. Look in the Bible and you'll see that Having God's blessing came with doing good. You never saw an example of someone buying a blessing. People are blessed not things. Ask a simple and basic question - what is God interested in? You, or a piece of earth that He created?
