What do you do to get rid of scalp ringworm?

For a couple mos. I thought it was my shampoo or sometimes it would itch for light hairsprays. But now, in front, right in the hairlne I found a complete circle. I don't have ins. or job. Is there a topical otc solution/cream I can get cheap?
